Area Science Park, pursuant to Article 10 of the public notice “Deep Tech Revolution”, intends to establish a register of expert evaluators to be consulted, as non-voting technical advisors, for the analysis and evaluation of project proposals submitted as part of the aforementioned initiative.

Inclusion in the register does not imply any automatic entitlement to assignment. Experts will be selected based on the consistency between their declared expertise and the specific evaluation needs identified by the Evaluation Committee during its activities.
The selected experts will operate upon request of the Evaluation Committee and in coordination with the Research and Innovation (R&I) Department, whose Director, Dr. Salvatore La Rosa, serves as Responsible Officer for the procedure.

REQUIRED PROFILES
This notice is addressed to internationally recognized experts with proven competence in one or more of the following scientific and technological fields:
• Life Sciences
• Materials Science
• Advanced Digital Technologies
• Green Energy Supply Chains

Applicants must clearly specify their primary area of expertise and provide a concise description of their technical-scientific profile, highlighting any evaluation activities, publications, international assignments, or direct experience in projects consistent with the above fields.
Applicants must have an academic background and curriculum documenting relevant and recent experience in the field, demonstrating solid engagement in scientific, technological, or industrial contexts.
For the purpose of establishing the register, expert profiles will be classified into four sections, corresponding to the thematic areas listed above.

ASSIGNMENT AND COMPENSATION
Assignments will be offered on a case-by-case basis, following verification of the expert’s relevance to the specific project. Each assignment will be governed by a specific engagement letter or contract, detailing objectives, timing, and operational procedures. The appointed expert shall be required to sign a confidentiality declaration, undertaking to maintain full confidentiality regarding any information and data acquired in the course of the evaluation activity, and to refrain from disclosing or using such information for purposes other than those strictly related to the assignment.

The fee for each evaluation is set at a fixed amount of €150.00 (one hundred and fifty euros). This fee is understood to be gross of all taxes and social security contributions and inclusive of any other charges.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Interested applicants must submit the required documents, in PDF format, no later than 11 November 2025, using one of the following methods:
– Applicants residing in Italy (or with a registered address in Italy): the submission shall be sent, preferably via PEC (certified email), to: protocollo@pec.areasciencepark.it;
– Applicants residing abroad (without access to PEC): documents may be submitted via standard email to: protocollo@areasciencepark.it .

The subject line must include the following text: “[Last name First name] – Application Expert Register–Deep Tech Revolution”.

Required documents:

• expression of interest form (Annex 1);
• updated and signed curriculum vitae;
• copy of a valid identity document;
• any additional references, publications or supporting documentation relevant to the evaluation.
